Century-old rain trees to give way to south Cebu highway

This is just plain sad. I see similar trees every time my family goes to Bantayan in the Holy Week, and they really add to the feel of getting in touch with nature. They are magnificent beings that bestow beauty onto the otherwise bland horizon. I can't even begin to describe my disappointment to the inconsiderate ***** who even thought of cutting down these trees. Just because they mean nothing to them, doesn't mean that they mean nothing to everyone else.

sayang jud ang trees pero kailangan man na i-widening ang road.. dapat mg tree planting sila pra naa gihapon trees...

asaman idivert? sayang man paminawon pero kinahanlan na potlon kay dilikado man pud nas mga motorista ug mabali na nya timingan naa ka milabay so maka damage nas sakyanan or mas worst pa makaangol.
and minding u nga nag kadaghan ang tawo so,mass transpo ato kinahanlan pud para ma accomodate ang mga trabahante ug mga commuters...
its about time nga mo uswag pud ta. hinumdumi nalang na nga kahoy ug ang kaanindot nya.
