There's nothing wrong if you want a job that you like and you find fulfilling coz you will devote a lot of years in your life to that job. It will only give you depression if you will devote yourself into things that you don't really like to do. Just my two cents!

haha! na igo ko ani dah. im choosy but the jobs i want di man ko dawaton. but right now wa lang ko nangply ug maayu. and sakto btaw cla na nindot daw mg sogod sa ubos. ako lazy boy, kapoyan mangita ug trabho kon naa na akong e deny sayang ang opportunity ba. hasul au ning in ani nga attitude its been a year na daun wa pa koi work. naka work ko for two months ni resign daun kai the work i had kai wai growth why work if wai growth?dba? id rather work sa company na klaro bsag ubos kaayu ko pero in the long run naa koi ma learn something. hehe xD

if money is your main concern, you really can't be choosy. you can start out with something that pays, instead of just waiting around for the perfect job. once you have a job and of course resources, that's when you can check out the jobs you want, apply.. kng d ka dawaton, then at least naa pa ka job dba? you can always apply and apply to the jobs you want as long as you have something to hold on to for the moment...

I beg to disagree on this...

We need sometimes to be choosy on what job we want to work on... why? because jobs and their corresponding salaries here in the Philippines does not support a mere single person at all...

Yes we dont need to be choosy lagi.. and we need to start at the bottom.. but if we can land a job worthy of its salary and its position.. w/o starting at the bottom.. then why not diba?

akong point lang is that.. with the meager income and pay this lowly jobs can offer on the applicant.. Natural ra kaau jud ta mangita ug trabaho nga maka sustento tawn sad oi sa atong inadlaw adlaw nga gastohan...

why stick to a lowly job (like a janitor perhaps) whose paying you a lesser wage, when you can opt and dream of having a job as a manager (at a large and better salary pa)...

its not a sin nga mgambisyon ug nindot pud nga trabaho oi... if that dream job is for you jud.. then its for you jud..

anyone of us yearns of getting a higher pay and walay tao di ganahan mag dawat lang ug laborer's pay (minimum wage) when he /she can have the opportunity to land to a much higher position..

sa trabaho, swerte swerte lang jud na ang pangaply... if di man gani ka dawaton sa usa.. then apply napud sa lain... ana lang...

ang importante lang jud ang magkugi ug never give up lang jud ka in applying for a position that you would all thoroughout desire jud...

mao ra na ang kinahanglan sa pagpangita ug trabaho karon.. apply and apply until you can find and land the job you really desire for....

have you tried ba working from the bottom until ni abot sa taas?... ako na try nako... programmer/sys ad ko pero naabot ko sa punto ni take kug multiple jobs even if dili na related unya gamay sweldo... kung mamili ta tana kana pung may ika buga

my post is inteded to those nga mamili pero walay experience, daghan nako nasugatan nga applicant diri sa amo company, nga wala pa gani experience kung maka demand murag grabe nag experienced.... way koy gipang approve...

kung wala kay experienced dili tana mangambisyon ug taas kay daghan nako nasugatan maoy nag dalag bulelyaso sa trabaho...

i rate sad nato ato kaugalingon... angay bang mamili ko o dili....

I have to admit piliian kog trabaho, I wanna make sure I enjoy what I get into and also get the right compensation for it.. this is probably why I will never have a day job coz the pay just blows.. but when the necessity really comes, I would guess dli nako ma piliian.. pasalamat lang kos higher powers nga blessed gihapon amo family.

Everyone starts from zero mn, even the most successful executives wala ni deretso ug ka promote, except sa uban mga anak sa company owner.hehe. Successful people did their best to get to the top.

Automatic ra na mo-increase ang imong sweldo. Just increase your output greater than your salary. ^.^ Maikog ra na sila.

If ang company ka'y dili mo increasan maski mas dako ang inyong output ka'y sa current salary. Try to talk to you're boss, if they really need you they will find ways to make you stay. Naa sad sila reason ngano wala pa mo ma-increase. If dili gyud madala change company (if experienced na gyud ka). ^.^

makarelate ko ani kay I also started from zero. altough I decided to suck it up kay kabalo ko maglisod ko panggapply kay colorful kaayo ako grades. ang ka alegre lang ato kay ako mga kadungan nga licensed engineers di ganahan kay minimum pay. it opened my eyes unsa ka lisod mangita ug trabaho, abi nako pag naa na license, easy life na, pero kadaghan diay licensed nga way trabaho

sucked it up for 6 months to practice my work ethics and discipline then apply dayon call center.
now, I knew nga di jud ko ganahan magdugay sa call center kay di ko ganahan mag supe or above.
so while working, cge sideline, now ako sideline mao na ako full time and Im sure my past experiences helped me become who I am right now.

if qualified kaayo mo then pick the best offer jud but if di gani, suck it up and take whatever comes to you and improve yourself hangtod ka kita ka ug lain nga work nga mas dako ug pay.
