    The condescension to which I refer has been very apparent on this and other disaster related threads. Several what I would term religious extremists (although they seem to consider themselves merely devout) have either implied or flat out stated that Japan and not Philippines has suffered these terrible earthquakes / tsunami because God protects the Philippines.

    i bow my head in respect and admiration for such a people..

    closer to home, talisay fisherfolk had their field day salvaging milk cartons spilled from a ship collision at sea.. and they proudly displayed their act on local tv news pa gyud..
