So you mean that there's a Christian God and a Muslim God as well as a Hindu God and they are fighting somewhere up there? Since you say that the God in Islam is not the same with the God of Christians? How absurd can you get? What's the purpose of being called GOD when you have these other Gods that compete with you?

I believe that there is only one Supreme Being, the rest are the works of the adversary. we know from the start what the devil did to God's purpose!

If we say that we are worshipping the same God, then there should be harmony and unity in this world. We can only attain such state when this things end and we will spend eternity in heaven with the one true GOD!

@ TS, before you could have started this, you might have at least research a little bit of the ISLAM faith. by then, you could have answered this yourself. true Muslims revered Jesus of Nazareth, aka ISSA or ISA as one of the prophets and the son of MARIAM. (the story of annunciation is also recorded at the Koran. the angel's name is Gibrel!)

And they believe that the Prophet Mohammed (sallallahu alaihi wasallam or Peace be upon him) is the last of all the Prophets.

I have tried the Muslim faith and i found it also wonderful. I know that one of the teachings that parted Islam from Christianity is the belief of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ in which Islam denies it. For me, this is the only thing that i cannot resist or deny about Jesus.

but i just wonder why muslims claim about the virgin birth of Jesus, his wondrous works, his power to resurrect the dead as permitted by the father, his life of perfection and yet compared to mohammed, they claim that mohammed is greater than Jesus. mohammed has several wives with a 9 yr old as the youngest. You can never find any sensuality in the life of the Lord Jesus Christ.

I cannot conclude that Islam is not a good religion but as what i've known, it's teachings and beliefs mostly contradicts with the teachings of Jesus.

@ WordofGod, I have worked and lived with them. and just like us Christians, naay moderates naa sad extremists. Islam is a religion of peace, salam with Allah. Of course kay naa man extremists, naay thinking kung dili ka Muslim, an infedel, maayo pa sa imo mamatay. either be a muslim or die. kung naa silay jihad, we Christians ning agi pod ug crusades! we also had that mentality na kung dili Christian, burn at the stake! we need to know that Islam is a "young" religion. at its early birth, they were persecuted and about to be vanished. but they fled and found refuge at the early Christian community. their persecutors asked for their release but the local bishop (110 AD) refused because he knew that they would be persecuted. so it was there that the islam religion started to grow.

I think Allah is Similar to the Christian God, they believe in Moses and the God of abraham so this is the same God of Christians. but Islam does not believe in the Divinity of Jesus.

However Hindu Gods like shiva, brahma, Vishnu, Baal Ect... are not the same with the christian God.
Also Greek Gods like Zeus, appolo, Pluto, jupiter ect.. are also same category as the Hindu Gods.

then how come you say that there's a Christian God and a Muslim God? Are you contradicting your own statement?
