For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.

wow this is great. Another filipino to be executed.
I said borderline racist; just a few more words it would've been completely racist. The fact that you used "Pinoy talents" as the thread title is already inflammatory enough.
I really don't see the point of further dragging out the fact that Filipinos are criminals, cheapskates, etc. when they go to other countries, because that's what this thread is implying. And don't deny it, because a lot of Filipinos love to make fun of themselves. And believe me, we have too much of it already. The article/website you linked to is nothing but links to stories of OFWs meeting their untimely downfall because of crime. Very positive and very generalized outlook on the fate of our OFW's, don't you think?

Ka misleading ani nga topic title oi. The title looks like it's about something positive about Pinoys. I think thread starters should take on the responsibility of making the title of their topic appropriate for the subject - especially here in Politics and Current Events. Otherwise it's like a headline designed to attract people's attention but ultimately wastes their time. Or a website that generates lots of traffic but little sale. Why? Because the people were misled.
Besides, there's something almost akin to a self-fulfilling prophecy every time we joke around about us Pinoys being "talented", being always late, or having crab mentality, etc. etc. When you say something like "Filipino time gyud kaayo ning mga Pinoy oi," you're giving yourself and other Filipinos the excuse to keep on being late, because it's like saying it's part of us and there's nothing we can do about it. Gets?
