yes, it is cheaper to just CAP the usage of its client base than expand/improve their hardware. typical. well, it's a "smart" move but let's see what will happen next. Since globe is implementing a cap, will PLDT also institute a bandwidth cap.
we the mass users are at the mercy of these 3 tradesmen. Bandwidth cap is utter nonsense! I pay a significant amount of money to enjoy the internet because it's become part of my life and now they exploit us further by bilking more money for every "lapse" of the 1gb per day cap.
who cares about the national websites? we only use a small portion of them for our daily surfing. Majority of our traffic is international. are they insane? they might as well just impose a higher price for an overall package. otherwise, everyone will be forced to subscribe to a business line. more expensive but at least dili i-cap nila....FOR NOW.
from what I know, it's mostly mobile internet that is capped.
since everything is going HD, sa uban nasod pwede ka magstream ug HD movies online. pwede ka mutanaw ug sport games on HD online. you have netflix or nba league pass.
this move would only set us backward. I dont mind paying for quality service. mas sulit on our part if they actually upgrade rather than impose caps.

nindot ni cya kay uso naa ni ron,,,
Globe will follow the cap similar to comcast, verizon at&t.....
you want to play... you have to pay... simple as that....
that is how business works....
the more you want to play... the more you have to pay....
Again Globe has to follow International carriers... set a GB per month... and charge after that...
same ra gud sa TAXI meter....
wow! kuyawag palusot sa globe ui..
