Tanks are almost obsolete. Helicopters can target them so easily in the open and they are extremely vulnerable in closed environments such as cities.

BTW anybody know where the word "tank" came from? I'll tell you..... the British invented the tank and the name was a codeword used to fool spies into thinking what was being transported was a water tank.
