hoi grabe mo ka init tanan ha! relax mo dha. naa man juy mag piti2x gikan sa mga mod ba. anhi nlng mo tanan sa amo balay mag discuss. aircon mi diri 24-7. that way, walay init nga ulo. heheheh.

seriously though, when i posted that article back in the first page, i admit wala ko ka basa ug tarong sa agenda sa shoot. basically, i assumed it was a free product shoot. that's what i referred to as
"undermining the industry". Plus I'm sort of allergic to that term "exposure" because I was asked to shoot an event a while back that did not pay but just simply told me "exposure this, exposure that." so murag ni siga ang wifi hotspot sa ako ulo. And I think at some point, most experienced photographers have encountered that, and are also allergic to that term.

However, since klaro na man that the TS owns the business, doesn't have much to give, is willing to "feed the artists" instead, while conducting a community bonding affair. I think that's sort of noble.

now here's my two cents for everyone:

don't be hostile against whoever doesn't see it your way. just try to explain as best and as polite as you can. and always take in as much as you dish out (listen as much as you speak). remember hostility begets hostility.

wow. the last time i've read this thread, 2 pages paman to, now 9 pages naman. hehe.

anyways, TS, i dont really know what's your MAIN purpose of doing such activity. its either purely pang business ni, pang "community bonding affair" like what teemoy said or watever, i dont care. IMHO (in my humble opinion), if you say man gud "PRO PHOTOGRAPHER", it's equivalent to a person who's into photography for quite a while, somebody who has the necessary skills and talents to be called such. of coure, MAJORITY of them are not for free. I suggest you look for somebody who's well experienced yet cannot be called "PRO" yet, para maka tabang nimo. Somebody nga dili "labad" btaw. Somebody nga willing mo buhat ug ingon ana for FREE. Someone nga dili kaau "issue" ang MONEY.

They are called "HERO/MARTYR PHOTOGRAPHERS". Dont worry, naa pa ghapon mga tao ingon ana karon.
