Biblical Fact: Who killed more people in the Bible

while watching some movie many years ago along with some innocent children ages 7 to 10,
we are watching some bible cathecesim movie and suddenly this kid ask me a question;

"why would god, will kill innocent people just to prove a point?"

I think na raise ni na pangutana during katng movie na naay gi prove c god na bsag hutdon nya ang pamilya, mag cast cya ug famine and butahon nya ang isa ka taw kay dli ghapon ma wala iyang faith..
ambot kalimot ko asa sa part sa bible na na story..
pero come to think of it, its very harsh..

and this one also,

"why would god, do stupid things just to win a bet?"

ask by another child.

yup, i know that god punished them to their wickedness, punished them by killing, means that god pawned them all. in any circumstances.... but my question is.... If god was merciful specially to those innocent babies.. Then why did god permit it though he can make any divine interventions to prevent the massacre.hehe, Pardon my english.

Define wickedness. Its not as simple. Try to check the Bible what wickedness really means its those murderers who have reaped what they sow. Even these murderous behaviors without Gods intervention would be self destructive.
And most importantly its not a one sided story. God warned all people ang gave them a chance to avoid these punishments but they ignored the warnings. Do you know how many years Noah constructed the Ark? It was 120 years and those 120 years he is ridiculed and mocked and they did not believe in Gods warnings for 120 years.

So you mean to say God permits and its not God who commits these murders you are right. God allows all these man made murders to show the result of Godlessness, man made killings are a case against Evil and not God.

As far As I remember it was Herod and Pharoah who initiated the Baby killings since this was a threat to their kingdom.

Yes There was baby killings in the Bible but it was commited by kings and man.

Again There is no part in the Bible that he punished a person for no justification or reason.
Famine was the story of Joseph where he predicted that there would be seven years famine and seven years of abundance so he told the Pharoah to save food in the 7 years abundance to prepare for the 7 years famine. The result was when they obeyed God they have enough food in the 7 years famine.

How can you question God's plans? How can you blame Him for it, when He Himself was murdered? Who are you to question Him and demand that He spare us our life when He Himself faced death? though He could always spare and save Himself from it...
