    I think we're hypocrite if we judge the ABC 5 particularly "willing willie" show as if were not doing this also... gi sakya rana sa ABS CBN what is business' ang parents ug katong iyang auntie maoy ma blame ani kay sila ang ga tudlo sa bata... mahimo bagud tong kataw anan kong tarong pa ang talent sa bata.

    tell that to other members here and not only me coz im not the only one who makes this issue not soooo big deal. if nagbasa ka ug balik, i really dont care much about Willie Willie or Goin Bulilit coz me myself i do watch those shows bcoz i am an adult, my concern plainly is about DSWD, how they made a live action to this issue pero ang mga issues sa kadalanan sa mga lantaran na probs dili nila maatiman... gets nimo? if not, tabangan teka.

It's kinda sad really that our Philippine laws are so weak in terms of Child Protection and even parents/syndicates can find loopholes on those laws (eg. use the kids to do criminal acts because they're not going to go to jail) .

    Then it's time to call our Congressmen and/or Senators to tighten up CHILD ABUSE LAWS . I commend DSWD , the Palace , and other agencies for taking direct action for the incident .

    Going back to the STREETKIDS topic , DSWD can't do anything about them since it's not their responsibility to ADOPT them because their parents are unable to give them satisfactory parenting . They didn't even choose to be poor . When I was still in the Philippines , DSWD are actually active on their duties everytime there's a crime and/or accidents involving minors .

    As for the Janjan incident and the Goin Bulilit , I hope it won't ever happen again to kids on TV especially when the show is rated as GENERAL PATRONAGE (GP) . I'm not saying minors can do lewd performances on a PG-13 to R-18 shows either . Janjan was obviously forced to do that dance so he could be in Willing Willie . By his dancing alone , my girlfriend - who's a part-time ballet/jazz/lyrical dance teacher - CAN tell he's not an experienced dancer or danced for a long time contrary to what the parents claimed .

    All I can say to the Philippine government ... TIGHTEN UP THE CHILD PROTECTION LAWS CUZ THE CHILDREN ARE THE FUTURE OF THIS WORLD !

    On a sidenote ... the Child Protective Services in the US took action after they saw this video ... YouTube - Single Ladies

    good points bro. yes, you are right. that is my point - i am so concerned with kids sa street coz i know they dont want that kind of life but theres nothing they can do. so your suggestion that Philippines should take action particularly DSWD focusing on the roots why these kids are abused, exploited, etc etc etc is good. i am not also saying DSWD is not working but i am just wondering why cases of abused kids are increasing. if an institutions/associations are very active in certain issues i believe there will be developments. im not also saying DSWD will adopt all those kids, i know it wont be easy to give solution sa problema sa society but at least they should have programs to lessen sa kani na probs. pasagdan raman gud nila ang lantaran na abused kids, exploited kids - they can see it by their own naked eyes.

    thanks for the video. i hope DSWD will also give warnings to Goin Bulilit to refrain doing lewd acts even though they have DOLE permit because that is not an excuse in abusing kids. just because they have permit they can do those things?

    just want to share this here:

    ARTICLE VIII
    Working Children

    Sec. 12. Employment of Children. – Children below fifteen (15) years of age may be employed except:

    (1) When a child works directly under the sole responsibility of his parents or legal guardian and where only members of the employer's family are employed: Provided, however, That his employment neither endangers his life, safety and health and morals, nor impairs his normal development: Provided, further, That the parent or legal guardian shall provide the said minor child with the prescribed primary and/or secondary education; or

    (2) When a child's employment or participation in public & entertainment or information through cinema, theater, radio or television is essential: Provided, The employment contract concluded by the child's parent or guardian, with the express agreement of the child concerned, if possible, and the approval of the Department of Labor and Employment: Provided, That the following requirements in all instances are strictly complied with:

    (a) The employer shall ensure the protection, health, safety and morals of the child;

    ----- i just dont find it amusing and could boost morals of the child when they did macho dancing sa show, ga inuman mga bata, nangulata ug uban bata kay wala nay ALAK, basagulero na acts, shouting in rage and saying WALANGHIYA..... i know they are acting but they are kids for crying out loud. there are good jokes na dili kinahanglan ug lewd acts.

    MORALS - Morals | Define Morals at Dictionary.com

    (b) the employer shall institute measures to prevent the child's exploitation or discrimination taking into account the system and level of remuneration, and the duration and arrangement of working time; and;

    (c) The employer shall formulate and implement, subject to the approval and supervision of competent authorities, a continuing program for training and skill acquisition of the child.
