i think it will be cool...but it will depend on what movie will be shown and of course the price...but it'l surely be a big boost for theater movie goer's...can't wait to sit in one...

Imax is intended for 3d na movies para maka appreciate jud ka maayo visually. Pero kun tagalog ang mga salida faet may pag wala nalang. Furthermore, let's wait when ni ma implement this is good for us cebuanos. :mrgreen:

ive enjoyed IMAX before 3D imax came available...and ive totally appreciated the IMAX experience even without 3D.

It'll probably do well the first 6 mos... then people will get tired of it and will settle for something cheaper.

Itl be good for Cebu though... i just dont think its lucrative enough for SM....

I think its better pa cguro if naay theater nga Reclining seats and high end audio technologies like THX and what have u.

Ayala cinemas arent any good compared to the nice Cinemas in Mla. (Greenbelt, Powerplant.. etc)

yeah totaly disapointed in our local cinemas claiming to be thx/dolbydigital...what crappy sounds they have.
specially sa EMALL...its getting worst every time.
i remember watching phantom menice sa brand new cinema in sm...expected a lot more in terms of quality audio...totally a let down

however if IMAX was to be available in cebu...i dont think it will die out in 6 months as long as good films are made for it...even mga documentaries...schools will have fieldtrips there...packyaw tibuok dome...people from other provinces in mindano and visayas will surely grabe the chance. i think there is good potential

I didn't watch IMAX Theatre when I was in Manila last month, sayang wa jud ko ka-experience sa ilang giingon nga nindot daw kaayo mura kag apil sa movie. Hope this will be in Cebu soon..
