To me land based are more vulnerable to temptations than sea based. In land, one can go out and have good time anytime he/she wished. While at sea, its very limited, they spend most of their time at work on board. Having a good time to them means doing it very fast, otherwise they will be in big trouble if they cant come back to meet deadlines.

Its an irony to think that am a wife speaking in behalf of the seaman, but believe me,,,,,coz Ive been there.

lolz, i don't meant to be one sided but for me wherever your work environment would be, if you're into something or doing things beyond legal then it's your choice and does not actually coincide with your professions or position? it's all about personal choice, risking yourself in a short enjoyment or having a joyful life with kids and wife...

im just new to this profession but daghan naman gud ko nga nakit.an nga pares nga always SEAMAN-NURSE jud.. and mostly (im not saying all hap XD), they end up in separate ways..

and, we NEW GENERATION seaman, we are thinking much more on our future.. kanang tinarong ba.. naay pamilya nga tarong.. we want to erase kanang natatak na sa huna2x sa mga taw nga seamanloloko mi.. damay mi mga bag.ong seaman sa binuhatan sa mga ng.unang mga seaman.. ((
