Current events have made me think a lot about life. Its not just the natural disasters we should be afraid of, but also of the infinite possibilities of stuff happening to us when we least expect it. I've been doing a lot of thinking and I want to be prepared (not just for the natural disasters) but also for every day. Which is why (after a lot of thinking) I've decided to invest in an insurance plan. But I need something that fits my budget and needs and I know there are so many plans and companies to choose from. Maybe you guys could help me out? Like what are the benefits that I should look out for, etc. I'll be posting what I find here so you can tell me what the pros and cons are. Hopefully some of you can help me out

First of all, congratulations for realizing that. Daghan kaayo tao ang walay insurance and they think that they don't need it.

About the insurance, first thing you have to consider is the company. Stable ba ang company? Who are the people behind it? The features of the plan is useless kung ang company mismo walay klaro.

Go for term insurance. Para nako, term insurance is better because it will only cover you for a specific period of time. Kung whole life man gud, there might come a time nga ang imong nabayad sa premium kay sobra pa sa amount nga icover, alkansi na ka. Di na mahitabo sa term insurance. Ang nakanindot sa term insurance kay naay BTID concept (Buy Term and Invest the Difference). Sa ingon ani nga paagi, you get an insurance and investment at the same time. In case dili magamit ang imong insurance, you will get a cash value after the term and you have the option to redeem it or continue to make it grow.

before buying insurance look for someone na maka advice nimo ug sakto ayaw sa mga insurance agent...

FInd a Financial Adviser bro that can recommend you multiple solutions para dili bias. Term Life Insurance is the best bro.

Naa koy Kaiser, AXA, and Cocolife (BTID). Akong masuggest is to talk to a number of agents para makita nimo kung unsa gyud ang mofit sa imong needs.

Nagtanong-tanong na rin ako and narealize ko na I wanted to start with something simple muna anay. Ging send sa akon ng pinsan ko ang link sa insurance na kinuha niya nung December. Online niya lang nabakal. Its from Pioneer Life Insurance so kilala naman siya. Bag-ong product siya, Sparxx Max. Personal accident insurance siya na may kasama ng cash burial assistance (in case of death) and start-up savings na pang long-term. Ok naman gid siya kasi P550 lang lahat-lahat. Valid ang accident insurance and burial assistance ng 1 year kaya baka yun muna ang kunin ko.
