humor me... what is a 76 year old American doing with a 16 year old Filipina girl. let's just say he is not a pedophile, nevertheless, he is still sexually exploiting the minor. please don't tell me they might be "really" in love.

the good thing about forums compared to courts is we can pretty much say whatever we want, our views and opinions. this is not an avenue to act like a lawyer or judge for that matter.

IMO, people who try to hold back their thoughts in a forum or project to be objective is either a coward or hypocrite.

Hey, quit trying to be being glib here.. There was a brutal murder of an 76 year old man by a group of young people. They ambushed him and shot him multiple times. Would you be more upset if it had been a 76 year old Filipno man who was killed? Is that what's wrong? .. And, how much *** was involved in this "relationship"? The guy is almost 80 years old. We don't know if there was ANY *** involved.. I doubt seriously that "love" ever came into the picture (on either side). It doesn't really matter, does it?

I'm just disturbed at the number of people who are dismissing this as a case of "the old guy got what he deserved". Do you find something hypocritical about me feeling that way? As for cowardice, at least I have the guts to use my real name when posting my thoughts and comments on this forum. Can you make the same claim, LytSlpr? But we seem to have made this personal, and it probably shouldn't go there... Do you demand justice in the murder of Leamon Casteen Jr.?
