Nope, you've read Leviticus Chapter 11 verses 2 onwards...

Read Leviticus Chapter 11 verse 1

Lev 11:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,

Iniutos yan kay Aaron at Moses. Batas yan para sa Israel. Pero binago na ni Jesus.

    Sabi ni Kristo:
Mar 7:19 Because it entereth not into his heart, but into the belly, and goeth out into the draught, purging all meats?

Hindi na masama kumain ng baboy.

---correction po... Angay sabton ang chapter.. Not only sa verse...
"For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly." (Mark 7:21-22).

    aditional verse.
""I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, 'Here am I, here am I.' All day long I have held out my hands to an obstinate people, who walk in ways not good, pursuing their own imaginations-" (Isaiah 65:1-2). "

a people who continually provoke me to my very face, offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on altars of brick; who sit among the graves and spend their nights keeping secret vigil; who eat the flesh of pigs, and whose pots hold broth of unclean meat;" (Isaiah 65:3-4). "

who say, 'Keep away; don't come near me, for I am too sacred for you!' Such people are smoke in my nostrils, a fire that keeps burning all day. "See, it stands written before me: I will not keep silent but will pay back in full; I will pay it back into their laps-" (Isaiah 65:5-6).

    And

"See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the LORD." (Isaiah 66:15-16) .

""Those who consecrate and purify themselves to go into the gardens, following the one in the midst of those who eat the flesh of pigs and rats and other abominable things- they will meet their end together", declares the LORD." (Isaiah 66:17).

    Mar 7:18 At sinabi niya sa kanila, Kayo baga naman ay wala ring pagiisip? Hindi pa baga ninyo nalalaman, na anomang nasa labas na pumapasok sa tao, ay hindi nakakahawa sa kaniya;
Mar 7:19 Sapagka't hindi pumapasok sa kaniyang puso, kundi sa kaniyang tiyan, at lumalabas sa dakong daanan ng dumi? Sa salitang ito'y nililinis niya ang lahat ng pagkain.

Haha.. old na kasi eh haha... that's why if you are a Christian, you have to follow Christ. Yung pagbabawal sa pagkain ng baboy, para sa Israel.

Heb 8:13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away. <---- may new testament na kapatid.. lahat ng aral na mapupulot mo sa old testament, binago sa Christianism. Kahit yung 10 commandments kulang yun.

Kung susundin mo yung 10 commandments, hindi nakasulat dun na bawal ang drugs haha!

    makes sense...

so is it safe to assume that the latter who insisted with the old is not, at some sense, a Christian?

Yup your right. Peter didnt eat th0se foodz even God demanded him to do so in his dreams. B.Coz peter foll0w d Lords proper diet for mankind.. Perhapz, peter did answered.

""Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean"." (Acts 10:14).

Then lets continue the chapter c0z there are s0me explainations to peters dream.. And it must be enterpreted.. C0ntinue reading in acts chapter 10 verses 15 to 27.. Coz in chapter 28 the explaination of the parable (peters dream) will became broad n verse 28..

It says: ""Surely not, Lord!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean"." (Acts 10:14).

agree or disagree, it clearly says that peterz dream for fo0d is n0t leteraly for f0od.. But for all mankind became pure like d jew and the gentiles.

    better yet explain it here....

so where's the explanation that makes it broader?

so.. if it's not all about food, can we concede then that we can eat those so-called unclean food?
coz that's what we've been eating for ages..
