hooo.... it's pretty scorched in here...

hmm.... I admit I was really rebellious before... I've even argued with the admins and mods here....

then when I became moderator myself, I've experienced problems that I was so anxious about when I was a member.

I dislike groupthink in any form; some of the moderators here seem to have exhibited that by ganging up on some members, BUT that was many years ago and I don't seem to have observed it these past few years, or maybe it is that I understand them better now.

Klaro kaayo ang uban diri are using this thread as a means to insult moderators repeatedly. Your right to swing your arm ends where one's nose begins. So kinsa man ro'y abusive of their rights?

Kanang mag sige'g ingon naay mag binata maoy way buot. If sensible imong utok, sayun ra nimo pag expound para masabtan ka sa ubang tawo especially if you want to help this forum. Pero basin dili tingali ganahan masabtan, dili sad ganahan makatabang, ganahan lang sige'g whine/reklamo. Murang bata sige'g tantrum.

Anyway, my favorite mods are:

vern - firm, a quality useful in many situations
rodsky - his desire to educate people
gareb - for his writing abilities and I think he's pretty level-headed
diem - approachable, not quick to anger

The point is we are all here to post our opinions and views on certain things as well as read about what others think it. If you are not prepared to accept to a certain level other people's view then maybe you shouldn't be here in the first place. You don't agree with someone? then respectfully disagree. There are certain members here who think "to disagree with someone" means mocking him/her. This is a sign of immaturity and can lead to heated arguments and personal attacks.

In my experience as a management person, I had problem employees who were always against any management decisions. I have an employee in mind in particular. When I promoted him to an officer, (because he was good) he became very strict and imposing. At times, very unreasonably strict. We even had to restrain him!

Ganun lang ang buhay. We are wearing different hats at different times. Ang buhay ay weather weather lang.
