You'll see the difference in the design and function if you hire an architect. Pero duna may architect dili man kamao.

Mas maka less ang payment if duna ka kaila or classmate nga architect. hehehe.

As an architect broad kaayo ang scope sa work. Maski bisan asa pwede makatrabaho from real estate to movie animation.

Everybody is right gamay rajud ug sweldo ang architect labi mo trabaho ug firm or company dre sa pinas. Diskarte nalang jud para makakita ug dako2 dre sa atoa in less than 8 hrs or a month.

I'm an engineer... I can design my own house, provide actual estimates and program of works, provide building wiring, and other things.

Pero dili manko architect, I feel common ra ako mga ideal floor plans, and dili ko satisfied, that's why if ever I will build a house, I will ask the services of an architect to improve my design kay ila man ni expertise.

@elvansantos...lisora sad ana free design boss..architect's fee is always negotiable man, kung pila makaya sa client, the architect will always try its best to work within the budget range. mao nay advantage in hiring an architect. its a challenge for them on how to come up a well planned and design building with affordable budget.

@scott bernard,, i just hope in-ana tanan engineer sir..

i had an architect did a project for me in the past. on paper and on screen, the design looked good. but on implementation, i found out that there are dificiences. wala na mahimo, mana man ang construction.

this is true if as an architect, empleyado ra ka sa construction company.

Architects makes more money if they do it all the way...from idea to design to build, ilaha tanan hasta ang labor/manpower requirements.

Nabuking pa gyud kay iyang labor/manpower gi presyo niya ug 250 to 350pesos unya ako gi interview ang mga workers, iya ra diay tagaan ug 150 to 280 pesos. Pastilan! unya kadtong iya gi presyo nga 350pesos patungan pa niya ug 40%.
40% mao daw na ang rate sa market...

Unya not a single day nga mo spend siya ug dugay sa project site, kay busy daw siya.

Sumada total...ang kwenta nako, the project could have cost only 120k...pero niabut gyud ug almost 300k.
    so, 250x.40=100pesos. Ulbo ako kaspa!
nahimutang nga ang labor cost nga 250+100=350 nga ako gihatag niya to pay for his workers, iyaha ang 200pesos adto....grabeha gyud sa pangilad niya nako ug pag daug-daug sa mga workers niya.

    Lesson:
Just get designs sa internet and coordinate sa imong mga skilled workers on how to implement, you can also tap, architecture students.
Maybe istorya.net can be tapped to get the skilled workers that you need in your project.
