Coz d church said no.. duh!
the church is just voicing out what is of moral and ethical means of human sexuality that is within the context of Christianity. There are other means of preventing unnecessary pregnancy in the poor sector of our society that does not need the use of artificial contraceptives and one of that is rhythm method and the other is the VERY efficient ABSTINENCE!..well u should be glad of yourself that there is a concerned sector in our society that instills morality in the middle of this troubled world and that is the CHURCHand remember that the church have no regulating power on the people so basically they are just there to lecture and promote moral values. You cant blame the CHRUCH by saying that they deprive the masses of having access to those condoms, pills..etc. Every one can purchase this stuff easily in OTC drug stores and it is up to the peoples sentido cumon if they will instill on there corrupted minds the teaching of the CHURCH..getss...
I think you did not catch it. Kung ikaw kaslon adto ka sa simbahan... mag pakasal sa pari... kung naa kay anak.. adto sa sa simbahan kay mag pabunyag... every sunday, adto ka sa simbahan kay misa...
These means that the Church have more power to all our lives without you noticing it. Sick people don't go to church but they go to the hospital.. and the healthy people goes to church... nobody uses condoms nowadays....

^^i think u are the one who didnt catch my sentence. The *regulating power* that i said is somewhat equivalent to the laws ratified by the government. The church cant impose a law on the people regarding the use of contraceptives, so all they can do is teaching there members the moral and ethical ways on population control.

I these new generation.. all I was hoping is to change thier way of preaching and should not live in denial...I believe the society will go after them and do some drastic measures. The world is ever changing.. so must be their doctrines.

i think it's not the church fault... you see... it's the people that makes babies not the church... and i think that the two child policy should be passed not to prevent overpopulation but to control the number of people.. (check the two child policy topic maybe naa pa did2 ang akong gi post..)

hmm... I am not updated with this ish.

All I can say is, the responsibility and accountability of overpopulation resides on the *** urge of pipol, heheheh. Bitaw, it truly lies on the couple. Morality, religion, and government are just agencies of information, teaching, and guidance. Nothing more. The decision lies on every couple.

Morality, religion, and government acts only after something is done... Prior to that, they're just comfortable in their slumber!!! Who's working on dawns? D ba ang couples? heheheh

i suppose you are not a catholic ryt?..well to start with, the catholic priests carried out their Christian teachings by preaching the holy gospel during masses. So basically there stance on anti-artificial contraceptions were centered on the words of the bible...And you are talking about changing there doctrines and how the hell they gonna do that..re-writing the bible??...come to think of it man, if ever there are no concerned sector on this society anymore that serves as an equilibrium between morality & Immorality...then whats this world gonna be like

for me, its an opinion! pre marital education is important to every couple, pero kng gusto talaga nila na gumawa ng gumawa wla mhimo ang gobyerno even the church to stop them otherwise mag himo ug blaod na bawal magkaanak ug duha kada couples....para ma kontrol ang over population.....

I am a catholic.. but it's not me that you should be addressed. it's it -the idea and not the person. This is just to make awareness for the church in order to adapt changes in thier preaching.
there will be 160 million pinoys people in 2010. And probably, the church will act to that time and it's too late. Plague, poverty you name it.. is enivitable.... too late...

If this 160 million statistics is true then do you think this could fill up all the land masses in our country??..its apparent that the urban population in the country is perceive to be as overpopulated but actually the rural population is not. Well to give u a stats, the population density of the country is 255 people for every square kilometer of land area. And that's what u call overpopulated? fact is thousand people can still leave in harmony with a 200 sq.meter area, three story CONDO unit!...And we haven't even tackle the day-to-day DEATHT RATE...The real problem here is the government cant provide anymore the basic necessity of the people because of the imminent GRAFT and CORRPUTION and all they can adhere to the problem is population control.
