Observations regarding the recognition of Cebuano Topnotchers

Ako lang na notice ba, medyo naay unfair pod sa media in terms sa television ug sa newspaper.

Ngano man kung naay taga Cebu (or nearby provinces) nga topnotchers sa board exam, ang courses nga tagaan jud ug pagtagad kay Nursing, LET, Law, ug CPA? Then ang engineering, dili kaayo tagaan ug recognition sa media...?

Maka feel pod ko ug unfairness. Daghan man mga cebuano (or nearby provinces) engineers nga topnotchers almost every board exams, EE, ME, ECE... Whether from USC, CIT, UC, USJR, etc...

Pero dili man tagaan importance sa media kaayo. Dapat unta ba, fair.

what can you expect from a media that is soo manila-centric... i remember before(forgot the exact date) provincial schools dominated the ECE licensure exam top 1 4 and 5 from MSU-IIT, then USC and CIT @ 7 and 8th spot respectively... but then they just Highlight DLSU top 3.. tsk3x..

btw, i remember last 2009 dghan gyud to top 1 ang cebu.... wala kaau g-media ang sa mga engineering....

Of course, ma proud man jud ta maka kita nga naay mga Cebuano nga ma top sa Bar, CPA, LET, etc..

Pero, malain pod ko, kay almost every year naay daghan cebuano engineers nga ma top sa board pero dili jud e frontpage sa newspapers and be given special interviews sa GMA or ABS CBN..

pareha jud ta og na obserbahan TS pero ang atong local nga media mo announce man sila...like leo lastimosa in particular same sad siguro sa uban nga local station.....pero kana jud mga taga manila nga media kay kon wala sa mga dagko nga university or colleges ang ma top...wa ra jud na sila...hahay discrimination...

wahaha,,kay ang mga taga ABS-CBN ug GMA Cebu kay mostly taga USJR masscom..mao naa gani ma Top sa San Jose like katong Top 1,3 and 6 sa CPA ug katong top 2,3 ug 5 sa Education pang interviewhon..mao sad na ilang ways to give back to USJR what they owe for.
