@ rastachito89...good day! actually to ask a second opinion from other vet without terminating first a prior service from the former vet is unethical because you're pitting two professionals. This is true with other professions also. However since your Vet did not even bother to inform you the real cause of the problem and to give advise on what to do while your dog is pregnant, it's actually tantamount of giving up and thus, is telling you that he can't do anything about it (termination by substance). Since there's a termination by substance, you can now ask a second opinion from other vet.

Now with the problem...If It's erlichia, this is my pit bull's medication when she was hit by it. Reminder, she was 6 months old then and obviously not pregnant.

1) Doxycycline caplet (100mg/caplet), 2 caplet, 2x a day for 28 days;
2) Dexamethasone tab (500mg/tab), 1 tab daily for 4 days, 1/2 tab daily for the next 4 days, and 1/2 tab every other day for the next 4 days;
3) Essentiale cap, 1 cap daily for 14 days.

as of now ako ge pa eat nya is baboy, semi raw,,kay di naman jud cya mukaon ug dog food,
but every day mag bantay ko nya she is getting stronger man sad,,thanks

corection lng ko sa post nko before bro, kay para ma klaro buh,,,actually wa man ko problem sa vet nko,,but nangita lng sad kog alternatives ways or basin naa sad moy ma suggest na something based on your experience which i will consult it with my vet lng sad,,,

after 3 days mag cbc nasd mi balik hoping her platelets will increase

okay...just observe if she's drinking water well...you can also try giving her frozen gatorade, she'll like it.

same medication that my vet prescribed. it was a very stressful and anxious month for me. i almost lost my dog due to erhlichia.

@TS wala gi diagnose sa vet kung unsa gyud problema sa imong dog?

bro ako lang gyud nimo ayaw na pangita ug alternative medications.

go back to your vet, get her tested for ehrlichiosis just to be sure. bad timing lang gyud nga buntis imong dog, discuss with your vet what are the options available. you must accept for a worse case scenario "misscariage". besides when she gets better you can try next time.

watch for these signs for ehrlichia,
1.lethargic. g luya
2. vomiting
3. shivering
4. bleeding

even one of these signs are present you MUST get her to the vet fast.
the problem with other owners by the time they get there dogs to the vet it is already too late.

yupp,cge mi coordinate sa vet,,

wala man sad ko nangita ug alternatives jud,,but more learning lng buh,,
like sa liver is rich in iron diay,,mga ana gud,,di jud tambal,,,

as of now kusog cya mu inum tubig, iya eating habit is not before,,but mu eat cya,, three times a day,,

iw ill have another cbc for her tomorow,,to check if there are improvements ......
right now im just thinking positive ang checking internet to provide me more idea of this dissease,,better to be ready ,and to know what i could do,,,

@ rastachito89...that's not my idea. It's my vet's. She recommended it in order to replenish loss fluids/energy due to vomiting. Such idea works by the way.

as of now she improve greatly,as i can see...
