I think ang bad sector cant be fixed .. ang purpose sa mga utilities kay murag iprevent ang OS/device not to write on those areas tagged as bad ... i guess!

yep, those utilities will just isolate the bad sectors. after running them take note nga mugamay ang available disk space. physical damage na man gud na, di na kaya irepair thru software.

pero di jud advisable nga sige pa gihapon ka rely ana nga HD, once man gud naa na bad sectors managhan na na siya, labi na kungdefective head ang main cause nganong nagka bad sector in the first place.
