@jumps: Thanks especially coming from you. I will eventually search and steal techniques to paint like Golden Demon winners at some point. I mean take a look at the work of this guy: YouTube - Jeremie Bonamant DVD : Prelight part 2

@jumps: Btw, when I get the Space Marine Scouts (Sniper Rifles), I also plan to get my first metal mini - Space Marine Scout Sargeant Telion (Space Marine Scout Sergeant Telion | Games Workshop).
I believe I need putty - Modelling Putty (Green Stuff) | Games Workshop - when doing metal minis but if possible I'd like to use putty that's available at Tamiya.
What do you use as putty for your metal minis?
---
I only use epoxysteel and superglue to put metal minis together.
Cheers!
@jumps: Thanks.
(off topic) I found this site because I was curious about Reaper paints. I didn't know they had minis (but I think pre-assembled na).

They do have nice minis. Also check out coolmonoornot.com. That's where I learned most of my tricks.
Here's a couple of my favorite artists:

CoolMiniOrNot - fluffy's Gallery, Page 1

Cheers!
I hope I can paint as good as this one day

So clean ...
Two more steps to go. Decals and matte varnish on non-metalllic parts. Decals would have to be on Wednesday though as I have two dinner dates with some ladies tomorrow and Tuesday - a former classmate and potential model. Kahibalo na ako kumander.
I learned a lot of what not to do from my first mini. My 2nd would be a bit better I'm sure.

Before you add decals, you may want to clean up the border between the gold and blue on the shoulder pads. Also you may want to finish the base with some sand and rocks.I'm going to post pics of my Grey knights soon.
Cheers!
@jumps: I'll retain them as a 'gentle' reminder of my noob mistakes. I already visited your dedicated thread. They really look knights literally![]()
@jumps: A fellow WH40Ker (officemate) advised me that I may need to magnetize in the future and after seeing this vid: YouTube - magnetized space marine, I'm convinced that it's indeed one of the best ways to ensure we use all the parts in the sprues.
He gets his magnet from ebay? Do you have a local source?
