Why do you Like and Hate Metallica?

I used to really, really, really love metallica especially during high school- their songs inspired me to write dark poetry.

But then here comes LOAD and RELOAD.....? These guys make beautiful and dark lyrics and they can't think of any better title?

Tsk...tsk...they're not anymore the Metallica that I loved.

i really like metallica.. from the album Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning, Master of Puppets, and Justice for All..
i like:
- the vibe and the intensity of James's guitar playing
- the way they perform on stage,
- the riffs
- the way James Hetfield wrote those lyrics.
- the attitude

i agree with you guys, Metallica change a lot.. in terms of their lyrics and riffs but im a die hard Fan.
to tell you honestly "mas ganahan ko sa old skol Metallica"
i am a Fan of Metallica forever.! for all the rough times and the good times..!

i like metallica because of them i was inspired to be a better guitar player, to understand the quality of good songwriting, execution, and performance.

i like metallica because the albums got me in contact with the angst and hate inside me.


i didnt like metallica when they jason newsted left.

i like their stage presence because like it or not, they are born to play in the stage. what i hate is their so called "evolution"... a fancy word for "can't play speed metal anymore" lol
