Hope this is somewhat of a good news to all who are affected:

Banco Filipino will be open to receive deposits but the bank urges depositors to refrain from going to their branches for withdrawals. Banco Filipino Vice Chairman Perfecto Yasay says they cannot service withdrawals until the Bangko Sentral acts on its request for an emergency loan. Yasay hopes the emergency loan will be part of the agenda of the Monetary Board's meeting this afternoon.

insured up to 500k sa pdic, but it is not true na dili na nimo makuha ang sobra sa 500k nimo na deposits. kinahanglan pa lang maliquidate ang mga assets sa bank, baligya etc which is often bigger than the claims, then pay liabilities, then usa pa dayun mabalik sa depositor ang excess sa 500k. dugay na proceso. hehehe. makuha pero masiyam siyaman
