Divorce, Legal Separation, Annulment: What is your stand?

though i'm not in this situation, this is how i see it now: the couple makes a covenant or promise in front of God and man. of course a promise should be kept, right? now, if you are in a situation where u can't fulfill your promise anymore, then u have to find a way to be set free from it. analogies: if di na ka kabayad ug utang sometimes u ask for amnesty or something. if u promised your child ba kaha nga u'd take him to the zoo and u can't for some reasons, then u ask to be set free from that promise and apologize.

not being able to fulfill a promise could be a "slap on your face" and you're doing the slapping yourself. well, in our humanness sometimes we have to accept that. promises are not to be taken lightly, true, esp wedding vows. but if your spouse is out there indulging in adultery or abusing you mentally and emotionally, then you have a higher order-->responsiblity for your self. you get out and protect yourself.

That's what life is all about. Be happy. Nobody is born a sore loser. Each person has value. Each person has good qualities. Each person is unique. Sometimes, things happen for a reason because your vibration is towards a soulmate. So it doesn't follow that just because you are married mao na imong soulmate. Mao na divorce, separation, annulment happens. Soulmate qualities is not present in the relationship mao na mag end.

This is one reason why I am kinda afraid to settle down. I'm sorta afraid to marry the wrong person. Coz marriage is supposedly for a lifetime... pero what if you find out in the long run na dili diay siya ang para nimo? 'Di ba?

what are you afraid of?the numbers of divorced from the statistics is not alarming.so only a few of the population experienced this. if it will happen to any of us im pretty sure it is a very low possibilty. the bottom line is LOVE...its the foundation of a happy marriage.that says it all...
