Very well said, bro! The least they can do is to be sensitive about this whole thing. But no, their "american pride" has to go first. I feel sad for those sensitive and kindhearted ones, the rotten ones make the rest of them look bad. Plus, they did not do their research lolol. (That's a really neat trivia there!)

This is indeed a heartbreaking news. I'm praying for the safety of all mangakas, cosplayers, anime authors, anime studios, anime enthusiasts and all the people out there who are striving hard to survive. Wish I can list some anime studios that are safe.
