if subsidized lock na siya. but naa man balita nga ang baligya sa mga carriers di locked. also ang baligya apple store US nga 3G naa gyud na option sa CTO page nila to choose which carrier. di na pasabot nga lock ana nga carrier. Ang problema lang nuon is asa ka nga band ganahan either sa verizon (CDMA) or ATT (GSM).

Also additionall CDMA unit don't have a sim slot. So even though it is not locked to a carrier you'll still need a cdma carrier to make it work. GSM has a sim slot.
