If you take a peek at recent GOES/MTSAT weather sat movies for the past 4 hours, the general wind direction from Japan is eastward, away from the Philippines.

there's nothing wrong with being cautious...its better than doing nothing...i also received the text yesterday from my sister which was sent by her friend which was sent from her friend from banat radio...i was quite anxious, from there i keep on watching BBC News and CNN...i learned from my sister that the employees in Capitol were dismissed at 3pm...last night's news from BBC was that 17 US navy are contaminated by the radiation and they are pulling out their ships and military from the japan...

let's be vigilant because we never know what will happen next...

FYI, there is no information from BBC regarding 17 US Navy ships being contaminated by radiation.
