kidding aside. disasters like these happens. this is not the first time. when that big tsunami hit phuket, there was way way more destructions. thousands of people killed. but no one thinks its a sign na mag end of the world. wa pay 2012 ato man gud na theory. when years and years of war between iran, iraq, kwait, no one sees it as sign sa end of the world. When california was struct with a super earthquake, end of the world is out of question.

maybe, just maybe, we are just more aware of what was happening around us because of TV and media. Dati nga linog sa lain lugar, di na matv, or wala pay cable ato, wala pay international channel. Karun, hibalo na ta kung naay bisan intensity 4 lang nga linog sa ubang nasod. ug tungod anang theory sa 2012, people are more keen on these events.

when i was in highschool, there was a period of time wherein we experienced 2 - 3 earthquake in a day sa agusan. but never did it reach the papers, much more in tv.

but well, if its the end of the world then be it. as they say, in Gods time.
