why compare nurses to engineers? why not doctors vs engineers..

i was anticipating this argument, that's why i said "directly".. engineers deal with ensuring the people's safety by making structures (things, non-living objects) that are sturdy enough..

may it directly or indirectly, both ng value sa life.

But, education doesn't end upon graduation. Padayon na siya sa atong respective workplace. When I passed the board exam, akong feeling dili pako full pledged jud nga engineer kay limited ra akong nakat onan pag college, puros ra lecture then wala kaayo actual exposure.

Karon, hopefully, after more than half a decade, dili nako ma uwaw tawagon ug Engineer...

i think this would apply to a lot of nurses, too. RN lage pero wala jud kasuway scrub-in sa either OR or DR..

anyway, kabantay ko daghan mu-underestimate sa roles sa nurses sa hospitals.. tig- ra sa doctor? hospitals cannot run smoothly kung walay nurses..

Little knowledge is dangerous brad... don't say that... hehehe! Naa man jud ko sa industry, bisan unsa ka advanced ang amo ge handle nga technology, naa gihapon na ang instrument error or false alarm/indication, mo balik ra gihapon ug manual inspection pag verify sa authenticity sa sequence of events.

Maybe, pwede ilisdan ang mga operators or manual labor ug robots. Pero ang mga robots or automated technology amo rana gepang gamit para mas madali ang trabaho namong engineers. Then, robots cannot exist and cannot continue to survive without engineers upgrading and maintaining it.

I am not downgrading nurses. Every profession has its own importance. Even garbage collectors, we are in dire threat if wala ni sila. I need nurses and doctors, para pag maintain sa akong health.

I am saying is, some or most people limited ra ilang knowledge sa engineers. Kanang medical instruments for example, forceps, scalpel, etc... Kabalo ang mga nurse unsaon pag fabricate ana? unsa nga materials gamiton ana? Simple rana siya, pero if walay engineers or technicians nga mo manufacture ana, mag gamit ra ug kahoy ang mga doctor ig opera sa patient.

Then, if wala pa jud engineers and chemists, pwede ba mo puli ang mga nurse sa pag mass produce ug alcohol, disinfectants, and even medicines? Without engineers, dahon2x ra ang tambal sa mga doctors.

Basin nakalimot mo nga ang mga medicines kay sa factory na ge mass production, which is handled and headed by engineers...

hahaha... engineers ilisan ug robot? naa na diay robot w/ AI na capable na maghuna2 outside the box? robot na makahimo ug invention? or do you even know what a robot is? what engineers do is provide solution to uncommon problems, make innovations to present technologies or even making new technologies, what a robot does is repeatedly do a set of instructions. unsa pagtuo nmo sa mga engineer, tigsulda ra?hahaha
