Best Strategy game in PC?

Hi! I vote for STARCRAFT!!! One proof for this is its existence. If i remeber correctly, starcraft started 1997? Until now, i think every internet cafe still has this game in their desktops.... even in the WCG, still uses this game for the tournament...

I agree, Thats exactly my point, what do you think is the latest or the next strategy game that could totally wipe out starcraft in internet cafe's.
I've noticed that no strategy game has ever made such an impact as starcraft did, am I right?

replace starcraft in internet cafes? as of now wala. until all internet cafe's here in cebu upgrade with new systems, starcaft will continue to dominate.

I'm compelled to agree that Starcraft IS the best Strategy game out there.. but recently I've found games out there that's quite capable of besting SC.. graphics and gameplay-wise.. but it's just people are afraid and not so committed to learning a game from scratch that they don't play these new games in internet cafe's...

Warhammer is a combination of Starcraft, warcraft and Z Steel Soldiers experience. Orcs VS. Marines.

Just an FYI, alot of the units in Starcraft were originally inspired by the Warhammer 40k (tabletop) units. The Warhammer universe has been around for awhile.

Warhammer 40k: DOW is a really nice game. I can see a bit of starcraft in that game. Mao diay naay similarities kay SC was inspired by WH40k. Overall, Nice kaayo ang DOW especially if makaya sa imo pc ang above graphics para makita jd nimo ang beauty. ^_^

To my opinion, I think if warhammer 40k or Rome (Total War) really wanted to take the spot left by Starcraft, they should've lowered their PC system requirements. To create a remarkable game such as starcraft, you don't have to dwelve too much on PC resources, otherwise, the game will be forgotten in a few years time, internet cafe's cannot afford a midnight pc overhaul, PC gaming companies should know this... A lot of RTS games that were release after starcraft has already been deleted in the harddrives of Internet cafes, but Starcraft remains! People never forgets a really good game playable to almost any computer with minimal specs required, and I think the graphics was already great , what difference does it make to make such a high system specs which I believe can be done with a 32mb video card, its more than enough already... Unless Gaming companies are working in partnership with NVidia and ATI Radeon...
