Bro, save your money. It is better to upgrade the rig not just the video card. AGP is a lot slower than pcie. It will be smart to have a pcie card nowadays than keeping an agp. I believe a lot of new titles will come out that requires a powerful video card. just an opiniion, coz i believe even though you have that 512mb x850PE or whatsoever agp cards, will not beat radeon 1800xt or geforce 7900gt. how much more with geforce 7950 or radeon 1950. Just an opinion, if you really want to. 6600gt will do, besides i don't think you will keep your agp systems a year or two from now. more than 6600gt is not practical.

The Radeon and GeForce use a similar basic FP16 rendering,
but it isn’t perfectly identical since the image is less “burned” for ATI.

HDR rendering for ATI GPU (left) and Nvidia (right).

i dont plan on getting a pci-e system just yet, gusto nako when i do purchase a new one it'll be a beast. sa ako-a sang current system, i'd want this one to go out on a high note. ram and proc is pretty decent man, ive maxed out my ram and my cpu's well over 2.5GHz. i just need a card that can last me a year from now, sell it prolly and then build myself that monster of a rig sometime next year.

im really torn between an XFX geforce 6800 Xtreme and an ATI Radeon x850, both in AGP flavors. feedback?
