you're given enough forces that is needed in the mission...as you progress you will be rewarded w/ $$$ then you can used that $$$ for re-inforcements. There is no building of Base involve. ( I am currently playing the Campaign Mode)
All you have to do is capture an Air Strip or an enemy Detachment thru a series of Engagements. Tanks like the M1A1, Bradley Fighting Vehicles etc. are being drop by cargo planes while your Combat Personel like Army Rangers, Commandos, Medic & Snipers will Rapel from their Black Hawks.

The gameplay is fresh for me...& it takes of getting used to of the interface; like your combat personel are not conifne w/ an M203 or M16-A2..you can equipped them w/ additional hardware like anti-tank, anti air weapons, C4, claymore mines etc..
You can change their weapons by a series of Keystokes. Your Combat personel is no longer helpless against Armored Vehicles...they can switch from an M16 to a Javelin anytime you want. Like I've said...its like Battlefield 2 in RTS.

Got it from Electronics Boutique....upon installation on the 4th disk, it will ask you to install Ageia PhysX software. Even if you dont have that "PhysX" card; install it coz if you dont - the game wont run.

As one who has tried it aptly said

To get a feal for the game just emagine Generals with a drop of Silent Storm and a little twist of Battlefield 2142 customizability. You can "buy" vehicle, infantry, or arial support and customize there equipment all the way down to their weapons.

Can't wait to see how it looks like... About 2 hours na lang to testing
