Actually this is what differs notebooks from desktop, notebook hardwares are really hard to find or replace because of its availability and if in case there is an available parts it cost a lot. But for battery and charger I think this peripherals are not that hard to find, but of course it is better always to ask the store from which you planned to buy the supply for those hardware parts just incase the worst will happened.
