Galibog ko.. among wifi guba or ang netbook?

ga libog ko kay:

naa me wifi router kanang zyxel ang brand tapos naa ko netbook katong kang princess diri nga gi baligya.. lenovo s10-3 and naa ko cellphone nga naay wifi (se elm)

ing ani siya:

mag internet ko sa akong kwarto den mga pila ra ka tikang gud mga 10 ra tingali.. basta doul rah.. den ang mo appear sa signal bar diri kay 3 raman.. dili jud 5 bars.. ako na man ni gi update ang nic niya sa wifi and all.. pero 3bars ra man..

den sa akong cellphone nga s.e. elm full bar man xa.. pas pas pa jud xa ka load ug mga webpages mga seconds ra jud.. or wala gani ka abot seconds..

but sa akong netbook.. usahay dili ka sud ug sites.. or hinay mo load bah..

so i'm thinking basin sa netbook ni?

unsay software (or if naa ba jud) nga maka detect asa ang gubaon or needs pumping ang router bah or ang netbook?

upgrade ang firmaware sa imong wifi sa netbook and check pud sa iya settings basin naay nausab ana...

e check ang imong netbook sa WIFI ra na niya basin short range ra sad iya makuha mau 3 bars ra...

magdiffer baya ang range sa receiver sa imo laptop siguro base on my experience naa uban mas mubo ang range...

Updated naman xa, kay sauna, mag cge xa ka disconnected jd.
Pag human sa update dili na xa ma dc, but mao pud lageh 3bars rah.

Things to consider in wifi...
RSSI level doesnt have a standard... it depends on the manufacturer... 5 bars on others may show only 3 on another client...

check the wireless standard you are operating...b/g/n mixed network will always result on the lower standard to win... even if you have wireless n rated at 330Mbps... you'll still transmit/receive at lower wireless g speeds if there is a g client.

wireless access points work like a hubs... only one client can send/receive at any one time. the more clients you have the slower the network... the farther the client to the AP the slower the speed...

in your case i would say the problem is most likely in the netbook:
there are so many things to consider...
RAM, Processor, HDD freespace, software installed, drivers, updates... etc... it would be better if you can have another laptop to compare the speed with rather than comparing it to the phone...

hmmm okay...

so far with the ram okay man xa coz 1g na.. hdd free space 50g and drive d 60gig, software installed are minimal, mga ms office rah.. no firewalls and they are turned off..

ill try using another laptop..
