uhmmm I'm not the trader type.. substitute ra gyud xa sa ako savings.. gamay mn gyud ang interest if savings account ra.. and I'm not planning to withdraw on that amount unless emergency or necessary.. so ok ra diay mg invest sa stocks.. eventhough im not the trader type?

"Sikat" might not be the right term but rather fundamentally sound. But basically, yes, kanang mga blue chip companies kay sikat gyud na. however, there are times nga di kaayo ilado ang company yet nindot ug stable diay kaayo.

Regarding the price, we also can't call it "cheap" but probably undervalued. Naa man gud mga companies nga medyo mahal2 tan-awn ang presyo yet undervalued pa diay. For example, SMC. Right now SMC is around the 170, medyo mahal siya tan-awn but in reality, considered as undervalued na siya. It could go as high as 250 or even higher pa. So rather than the price, look at the fundamentals of the company (ie, future plans, financial reports, debt, etc.). Companies that has good fundamentals seldom goes wrong.

Take time to review the fundamentals of a company. Mao na imong key in investing.

yep kanang pg compute pa lng sa p/e and PEG ako nahibaw an ^^ para ma determined if undervalued ang stocks or dili.. ga research pko uban pa n way to reduce the risk.. ^^
