Marco Polo Hotel Davao has been existing for the past 7 years! And the group decided to bring its magic to the defunct Cebu Plaza Hotel! I'm sure that the team behind Marco Polo Hotel will do its best to bring back Cebu Plaza's magic, though now through Marco Polo Plaza Cebu! Go Cebu! Go Davao!

PEOPLE LIKE U ARE THE REAL CULPRITS WHY OUR COUNTRY CANT MOVE ON! PEOPLE WHO ARE REGIONALISTIC AND CONFINED WITHIN THEIR OWN ZONE! Open up your mind! COZ CEBU is not the only best place in this world. Nor is Davao!
Now whether Marco Polo Cebu will be better than Davao or vice versa..what is it for u? If cebu will be better than Davao or the latter? Would it add another cent to your wallet? GET REAL!
I have nothing against Cebu...in fact...I belong to the group who promotes Cebu and Davao! But as I what I've observed from your posts, it seems that your not open to the achievements of other cities as well, specifically Davao. Yes, Cebu is more urbanized and more economically inclined than Davao but does that give you the authority to look down at Davao?
Yah....
I want to go to Davao someday... my couzins are from Davao... I've seen a lot of pics ... lami gyud i adto kay sama sa cebu, daghan pud ug kalingawan ang Davao... someday... (next year perhaps... ) adto ko sa davao mo visita! Kuyog ta XANOR!
ug ayaw kalimti... ang DURIAN... sama sa taga Davauenions... ganahan pud ko ug DURIAN!!!hmmm yummy!
.... ownership-wise, it's not the same as the one in Davao .... we all know that the Cebu building is now owned by Metrobank .... of course, only one management behind Marco Polo hotels...Originally Posted by Tj-Mixxed
.... for now, the amenities of Marco Polo Cebu is not 100% finished yet .... there are on-going renovation/reconstruction such as mini-golf course, the Lantaw area, renovation of the Plaza Club (a separate one-storey building for exclusive suites), re-building the swimming pool and the most important of all the ampi-theater cum park...
Features:
.... there are 2 swimming pool areas of the Marco Polo Cebu: one beside the building and one in the Lantaw area which has a very nice view of the city
.... the glass elevator.... you can view the city while using the elevator ...it has good view at night because of the city lights...

Airline to fly to HK, Singapore in Oct.
The country’s second flag carrier has expressed confidence in Cebu’s potential to attract visitors from countries in Asia, such as Singapore and Hong Kong, as it opens direct flights from Cebu to these countries next month.
In an interview yesterday, Cebu Pacific (CEB) marketing director Candice Alabanza-Iyog said CEB will open a direct flight from Cebu to Hong Kong on Oct. 2 and another from Cebu to Singapore on Oct. 23.
She said other direct flights to other countries in Asia are in the pipeline.
CEB currently flies twice a week from Cebu to Incheon and Puchon, Korea.
“We are very active in opening regional direct flights from Cebu. This is part of our expansion plan,” she said.
“CEB’s launch of the Cebu-Singapore and Cebu-Hong Kong services is part of the airline’s commitment to the development of tourism in Cebu and its neighboring provinces. We are certain that with our trademark low fares, more international travelers will now have the opportunity to experience what the queen city has to offer,” Iyog said.
She added that the new service also comes in time for the 12th Asean Leaders’ Summit in Cebu in December. (JBN)
