I believe in the bible because I know it's the word of God, why I'm so sure it is? Because of this verse..
2 Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. (New Living Translation)


It came to be because God inspired the authors through the Holy Ghost to write the different books in the bible. Alangan naman kabaw or iro ang iyang i-inspire para mosulat ani diba?

And also.. the Bible was written over a 1500 year span (from 1400 B.C to A.D. 100), over 40 generations, over 40 authors from many walks of life (i.e. - kings, peasants, philosophers, fishermen, poets, statesmen, scholars), in different places (i.e. - wilderness, dungeon, palaces), at different times (i.e. - war, peace), in different moods (i.e. - heights of joy, depths of despair), on three continents (Asia, Africa, and Europe), in three languages (Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek)..
Yet the Bible connects history, thoughts, and ideas. Jesus the messiah was prophesied in the old testament, and it came for real in the new testament. In the new testament, there are four Gospels (the story of Jesus)and they do have different authors and was written in different times.. Yet the contents have the same thought. The bible is also the most printed book.

bro, I think that's what you call a circular reasoning.
You believe in the Bible because the Bible says so.

If mao na gamiton nato nga reasoning, mo-accept sad diay ta sa libro ni Nostradamus?
Kay gi-claim man didto nga tinuod iyang mga predictions (which is ni-tugma man sad raba kuno).

I'm not sure if you're aware, there are hundreds of manuscripts written on the first century that was not included in the Bible (Gospel of Peter, Gospel of Thomas, Revelation of Peter, etc..) .
