I never said so. But IF the Garcia's can serve the province better then why not diba? You can never generalize the family based on the perception of a handful of it's members and that transcends all the families of Cebu, political or not.

I am not particular with the family, so long as the candidate possess the QUALITY needed to serve the Cebuanos then I will choose them. It's no longer about the reputation built by the family, it is about the skill and will of a single person who has both SKILL, GUTS and WILL to serve. I can vote for an Osmena, a Garcia, a Durano or any person from any family, a renowned family or not it does not matter to me, what I want is that they JUST DO THEIR JOB and serve the people whom they owe their power to. As is said, "PUBLIC OFFICE IS A PUBLIC TRUST" - sa City Hall na and "THE AUTHORITY OF THE GOVERNMENT EMANATES FROM THE PEOPLE" - sa Capitol na. This is the best example of what representative democracy should be, no dirty works and selfishness, just pure commitment to do one's best for the common good of the people.

For me guys, Mayor Tom is a good mayor. Maayu pagka dala niya esp. ang ayala center oh and kanang reclemation project salute ko anah. Bisag hitting 3birds in one stone siya anah pru bilib japun ko over-all rating, pasar japun. But how about lain napud? kanang new breed of politics bah unya maayu? na-a bah?
