@rodsky: hmmmm....i wonder if they wanted to see the film because...it is something worth watching....
or
they simply wanted to see that "talked about" scene.
I myself have no idea it was going to be that way....i wanted to see the movie because it's a psych thriller...well..not much of a thriller..but it is not your typical chick flick.
ehe..didn't know how to use the spoiler tags....now i know...

Daghan man interpretation sa ending and sa movie itself gud.

This movie is actually not the usual..pero nindut.

before the movie was released into the cinemas i was already intrigued because of the story was quite interesting more so that natalie portman was the one playing the role. when i saw the movie, i was dumb-founded. wow!
i mean not many can appreciate it, but it was mind boggling to a point in which i would want more.... hahah!
the ending was kind of confusing... but then again maybe that is what the director wanted the viewers to feel at the end...
after seeing it, i knew that natalie deserved the oscar....

I finally watched this movie yesterday, partly to see Natalie Portman's performance that won her the Oscar for Best Actress. I have to say I got goosebumps during the scene where she was putting on her make-up for the final act (the dying of the swan).
I was a bit surprised when I found out that the actress who played Beth was Winona Ryder. I thought she was just some nobody actress.
As for the ending,
