These powers could be used individually or in conjunction with one another. His eyes could also perceive the full electromagnetic spectrum including infrared and ultraviolet frequencies of radiation. Originally depicted as a by-product of his x-ray vision, Superman's "heat vision" allowed him to generate energy beams which could be used to melt or vaporize almost any substance.

Superman could hear sound at almost any wavelength and at vast distances. Superman's breath was capable of freezing objects (because his lungs were able to put air under tremendous pressure, thus super-cooling it) and generating hurricane-force winds. Superman could throw his voice across great distances. This power was used to confuse enemies or protect his secret identity by tricking others into believing that he (or Clark Kent) was in a different location.

Superman possessed super genius-level intelligence and an eidetic memory (average people from Krypton already had genius level intelligence—they learned calculus at ten or eleven years). These enhanced mental capabilities were a direct result of his exposure to a yellow sun. Superman also possessed the mental ability to screen out the enormous amount of information received by his enhanced senses and to focus on a single detail such as a particular voice or location.

Writers of Superman experimented with new powers for the character. The abilities that proved popular became part of his regular repertoire, while others were discarded after a single use. In addition to his other super senses, Superman was occasionally shown as having highly-enhanced senses of touch and smell.

Goku in his regular state, and in several of his Super Saiyan forms.Through constant training, Goku has achieved many abilities; power sensing, invulnerability, superhuman durability, superhuman senses, concussion beams, force field generation aside from his extreme strength and incredible stamina. Goku is also the only Saiyan in the series to achieve all the Saiyan transformations seen in the manga. In Dragon Ball, he is able to transform into a gigantic ape called an Oozaru when he stares at a full moon while possessing a tail. Goku loses the ability to make this transformation when Bulma and Yamcha cut off his tail (in Dragon Ball). Goku can also fuse with Vegeta and create a warrior who has the combined power and skills of both. One method is by using the Potara Earrings presented to Goku by the Elder Kai, which results in a 'perfect fusion', creating Vegito (Vegerot in Viz Media's manga translation).[27] The other method is by performing the Metamorese Fusion Dance, which creates Gogeta, or if performed incorrectly forms the obese Veku.[28]

why? Superman can destroy planets with his fist. he is tough enough to withstand being crushed between two planets or the destruction of a solar/star system.

so, how does Superman not get beaten by Goku?
for one, Goku can't hurt him. Goku's Kamehameha can destroy planets, Superman can tank planet busters.
two, unlike Superman who can tank planet busters, Goku cannot. he was killed when Cell 2 self-destructed and one of his most powerful villains, Kid Buu, was destroyed when he blew the Earth up(he lived thanks to his magical regeneration). Kid Buu and Super Saiyajin 3 Goku are about even(Buu may slightly be stronger). so Goku can be killed by a planet buster, can Superman busts planets? yes, he surely can.

but then, there is the speed. let's take care of that.
using Cho Gohan/Mystic as an example. Cho Gohan is the most powerful non-fusioned character in DBZ, he was easily beating the hell out of Buu(before he absorbed Gotenks). but before that happened, he had to get to Buu and his friends first. and despite being very powerful it still took him a while to reach his friends. speed in DBZ is dependent on their Ki. this was confirmed in the Android saga when Goku told Gohan to slow down otherwise he'll run out of Ki. so, the more power the more speed they have. Cho Gohan being the most powerful non-fusion character is also the fastest in DBZ, and he's slower than Superman.
because Superman can fly from Earth to one of Saturn's moons in 4 minutes.

other powers and techniques by Goku like his teleportation will only work once against Superman who has experience against teleporters. Solar Flare is useless since Superman dives into stars and suns, he can never be blinded by light. Energy Spirit Ball/Genki Dama only works on the wicked, which Superman isn't. and Superman knows how to fight very well, he's not just a brawler.
