Do you know that even National Artists can be buried there? Like Carlo J Caparas?....
Marcos was qualified to be buried there, but he forfeited that right when he was chased out of the palace by EDSA 1. He was a certified TYRANT.
He may have started out as a HERO but ended up a BIG CROOK!
ingun ka bro FM started out as a HERO but ended up a BIG CROOK! and how about Angelu Reyes? how did he die? and whats the cause of his death and reason?.... BIG NO to Reyes....

do it yourself, go and stop depending on others knowledge. searh for it.
and just because i mentioned an information that's been known for decades, it does not necessarily mean "sweto ko sa philippine history".
and tell me, what is the difference between a soldier and a dictator?
honestly i can't find any reason why it is important to define the two.
and please, try to have a level of maturity in your statement, if you want to gather respect.

    paragraph 4 says:

During World War II, he served as an officer in the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
Captured by the Japanese, he survived the Death March from Bataan to Capas, Tarlac, and
escaped. His subsequent claims of being an important leader in the Filipino guerilla resistance
movement was a central factor in his later political success.
"His subsequent claims of being an important leader in the Filipino guerilla resistance movement was a central factor in his later political success." - It doesn't say anything. It's not even a confirmation by the NHI, it's just a claim open for debate.. FM was a visionary with evil intentions.. Half of his personality is of a con artist.. The NHI mentioned the above sentence because marcos was banking on his "supposed achievements (with medals)" to solidify his political career especially in the 60's.. When he grabbed the presidency and declared martial law to stay in power, he was able to succeed and benefited from a large personality cult in the Philippines during his regime. Some people even regarded and look to him as the genius and even a saint. The marcos couple was able to fool a lot of filipinos.

If the minimum requirements para malubong sa libingan ng mga bayani is being a soldier/veteran and/or philippine president or national artist, then technically FM can be buried there..

It's kind of similar to a recent issue of a huge Islamic central Mosque constructed in the vicinity of ground zero in New York..

I am not pro reyes or anything, but rabusa's charges has yet to be proven in court. for now, what rabusa said are just allegations.
Our constitution guarantees that one is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
What transpired in the senate blue ribbon committee was merely in aid of legislation.
in other words kutso2x ra to ang sulti ni rabusa kay wala pa na prove sa korte.
kataw-anan man kaayo ka ug reasoning, taga barber shop ka cguro ay.

it has been 25 years since EDSA, and 21 years since FM died. We should have been so over this part of our history. Our inability to let go of this part of our history hinders our country's progress.

For me FM is no longer relevant, he is a dead man, he has been for a very long time and yet we still talk about him as if we should blame him for the country's present state.

Japan, Germany, China and other states were able to rebuild their states.

We should look forward, lets not waste time talking about a dead man.

They want him to be bury there let them. You dont need to be bury sa Libingin ng mga Bayani to be consider a hero and dili man sad tanan na naa didto kay hero. its just a name, a label it does not speak of the reality.

Tama na ang drama. Nakaka-inis na minsan ang pagiging sentimental ng mga Filipino.
