Haler? Look at the communist countries and see how stupid they live there. China is considered one of the poorest country in asia. Dugay na na sila nga developing country pero daghan ra gihapon mga poor didto. Their unemployment rate is 3 times bigger than the Philippines. Pero out topic na ni nga inyo mga posting.

let it be known that the ratio of USD to PHP during marcos' time is 1:1. If he's named 2nd of the most corrupt in the world, isn't it just to put gloria on whatever's ABOVE/GREATER THAN top 1, now that the ratio of USD to PHP is 1:50++?

Actually there was significant devaluation of Peso during Marcos time specially when he left the office in 1986. Given the following facts:

...considerable data that covers the years 1962 to 1986—the period after controls were ended until the end of the Marcos dictatorship. During this period, Philippine external debt grew from 275 million dollars in 1962 to 27.2 billion dollars in 1986. At the end of 1986, the country had a debt-to-GNP ratio of .90, and a debt per capita of 485 dollars. http://www.monthlyreview.org/1299scip.htm

Yup.. he did borrowed this kind of Money from the world bank... Where have all the money gone?! ill-gotten wealth...
The Peso has been declining ever since and we haven't recovered since then....
