dont change the suspension of the fort, change the air pressure in the tires.
After owning the Fortuner for 10 months, i have finally found the best solution to solve the Fort's very harsh ride. Before when i had the fortuner, all i do everyday is to research forums on almost all available topics regarding how to improve the its ride. I always check the Fortuner Club Philippines website to check solutions on how to improve its ride. I even change the shocks and springs twice already. First was Old Man Emu and next was change it to Rancho shocks. Still it had no effect. But 6 months ago, after owning the Fort for only 10 months, i have found a solution...... I sold it and bought a Montero Sport! Until now, i have no problem with its ride. A fortuner looks nice....but just look at it, don't ride in it! Trust me...been there already.
hahahaha nice one bro... uyog ba jud kaayo bro? naa man sila g suggest nga shocks nga nice daw ang ride. pero mao lagi montero gihapon, mas better ang ride.
how about ang strada og hilux bro? mas nice ba gihapon ang strada? thanks
I think the main problem with the ride of the fortuner is due to its springs. Its very stiff. It really is due to the design of the springs so no matter what brand you use on the shocks and springs, its still the same. Try checking the rear spring of the fort and compare it with the montero's springs. You will see the difference.
