take a look at Egypt and Libya now, you think thier going democratic? the only thing happening is thier stock markets falling and western powers that are currently in a financial crisis will be able to recover since everything else has gone cheaper. get the picture.

everything has always been economic, its how the world has been shaped since the imperial age. notion of democracy, human rights and open media are some of the tools used effectively and perfected during the cold war. To be loved by the mob is influence and power after all.
Rumors spread by leftists?.... So all the misappropriated money was just imaginary? You can be a capitalist without being a crook you know.

As far as the current changes in Libya are concerned of course the stock market is taking a tumble, that always happens in times of uncertainty. Markets will stabilize once Gadhafi is ousted and industrial stability resumes. Democracy is their right and they (the majority) are bravely fighting for it. Their so called leader even referred to them as dogs and rats. Such arrogance is not unusual for dictators who think they can rule unchallenged for eternity. Maybe you wouldn't mind living in that type of society, sounds like hell to me.

I was born after Martial Law so obviously I wouldn't know the whole story, but what has Marcos done to deserve the honor? If you can think of at least one concrete act that he has done that made a lasting impression and has contributed to our country's improvement, then maybe we can start arguing about it.

Like Batman said, "It's not who I am underneath but what I do that defines me. Sure he may have had noble designs for the Philippines, but what has he done to advance that goal? The road to hell is paved with good intentions. We remember Marcos more as the dictator who allowed his family and cronies (not to mention himself) to run amok and enrich themselves. There might have been corruption even before he was President, but it was during his regime when it grew rampant. None of the officials were afraid to steal and impose their will because they knew they had a very big and powerful backer behind them. He was so hungry for power, he did not want to let it go. Is that the way a hero operates? You can't say it's a necessary evil either, there were lots of other equally capable people who could've replaced him and maintained the peace (Noynoy was there, but he was murdered by guess who?)

This is becoming a trend in the Philippines, pa-lipas lang ug oras para maka-limot ang mga tao nya i-revive ra dayon through media. Pretty much the same thing that happened with the Vizconde case. Luoy2x dayon. 'Hatagan ug chance kay I'm sure naa gyud siya maayo nga na-buhat'. Give me a break!

    and what's next?
Give MARCOS a presidential burial and full military honor? ARE YOU GUYS ON DRUGS?
    Those who justified their YES,
you better read OUR HISTORY and what really transpired during the Marcos Regime.

The reason why the Marcoses are back in our Political ARENA now is because of the Lack of Maturity of our VOTERS. unsaon!
You think Bongbong, Imee and Imelda will not seek vengeance, revenge or retaliate the very moment they get a chance to do so? You think they simply forget what happened to them in their exile?
Bongbong is starting to be vocal now ...... Wait and See.

ani na lang Lupen .... I will provide you with everything, send you to school, give you luxury and all.
I will do the same to your siblings but i will murder your father, rape your mother and burn your house.
Will you invite me to your wedding?

You don't know if GOD has forgiven him. You can't tell me that! You don't know anything about Marcos I think! Let me tell you this, If it aint a crime to remove Imelda's heart, eat Bongbong's balls and decapitate Imee's breasts there would be millions of people to fall in line.
But sadly, many are also ignorant, naive and gullible to put them back in power.

i bet malubong ra japun na sa libingan ng mga bayani. Ang nka pa trigger ani is pagka matay ni Angelu Reyes. Bisan sa corruption issue iyang na buhat gilubong japun sa libingan ng mga bayani.

Ingun si Noli de Castro " hindi lahat na inilibing dyan sa libingan ng mga bayani ay bayani" correct me if i'm wrong na-ay iro gilubong diha wayback 2003 i think or 2004? its K9 dog.... but for me dli jd dapat ilubong coz hes not a hero.. end of story....
