    Default BIOS time and date settings. . .

    when ever i set my time and date settings in BIOS then saves it, after a day I boot it again, as it turn on there prompt 'CMOS time setting not set 'CMOS dat not set, in which i then go to the BIOS setup, there the date and time was back to the previous settings. again and again i do set the setting. Is there anyone could help me on this? so much appreciated. thanks.

    moncholo, your cmos battery is completely drained, replace your cmos battery with a new one...

    the battery is attatched to the motherboard itself.. (lookslike battery sa calculator)

    remove the old one. check the battery number (its usually CR2032) buy a replacement (mga 30-40pesos) and plug it in...

    usually when the battery is removed ma clear ang mga settings so you have to go into BIOS and re-set most of the settings.. and then

    ur cmos settings are good for another 5 more years

    kini na batt used to cost mga 50pesos. thanks to china karn less than 10pesos nalang.
