when you talk of initial investment (buying the dog) then maybe yes that is true, although there are a lot of breeders who sell their dogs at an affordable cost. but when you talk about the care you give to the dog...it's the same. whether mixed or pure or whatever...you are supposed to give the same love and care, regardless. vet fees, food, etc. a dog is a dog.
