@ Antipolman: hidden spring return is not via zip line but a monkey bridge
anyways, as i have mentioned before zip lines are measured post to post excluding the sag. Dahilayan 840m zip line is one way in fact their claim as the longest in asia is based on 840 vs. other zip lines based on 1 way
Papa Kits is only 400m not 800m as claimed their distance is the same as the new installation of Doce Pares.
@ Battle Axe/ Guyof your dreams: again as posted papa kits is not 800m but ONLY 400m. we can be a laughing stock in the adventure challenge course community if we will claim that it is 800m since 800m is already 2 way. I hope they will make corrections so that at least Cebu can be the adventure capital in the phils and we can speak the right language. I just don't know if the installers and the owners have any idea on this

Tried adventure cafe for the first time, didn't realize that 3 ziplines were in the area, k33 and island in the sky. Adventure cafe was the only zipline so far that allowed my 3 year old to go on it alone, it's possible the highest drop so the weight of my son was not that much of a concern, other ziplines I had to tandem.

@elvandesantos: bai, the correct way of measuring zip line is "post to post" not total distance back and forth, that's why its called zip "line" not a "broken line". 800m is the total "zip line tour" but not the post to post distance. It is only more or less 400m "actual line distance". I think they should put in their tarps "800m zip line tour" to put things in the right perspective. If you want to really measure its distance you can have a measuring instrument or use GPS which is already very common in some cell phones or if not just by simply taking into account the travelling time from from post to post. usually a 400m line would take 28 to 32 secs. depending on the degree of slope, an 800 m zip line would take at least 45 to 55 sec. depending on the degree of slope or if not from our boy scout days we can measure distance using the thumb method or the yardstick method
I don't have anything against papa kits, but since they are into adventure base activities, they should speak the right language otherwise it would mislead the public and most of all, we won't be a laughing stock in the adventure challenge course community.
