most of the time it's a hardware problem brad, either imong USB port or ang device mismo. unsa'y device nimo, external HD, flash drive, mobile phone? if software siya, try updating your USB drivers for your particular unit and OS, but medyo unlikely nga kana ang problem.

i think its just software error, cost it works fine when i boot it to my other 2nd OS. i use 2 OS both xp sp3. it can be resolve by reformat by i dont want to reformat, there might be some other way to solve this.

try to use another usb cable, try lng bsag unsa na usb naa man uban not recognize ug lain, choosy i mean..
