breeding is very expensive. raising a puppy is very expensive. and if ako ang breeder i always make sure na ang puppy is in good hands like if mag kasakit dapat maka afford gyud ang new owner na mo pa vet. then dapat ka afford sad sya mo buy og maayo na pagkaon. so i think mao na ang reason sa uban breeder na mahalon nila pag sell kay if you cant afford to buy it then for sure you cant afford to raise it. then ila pud i protect ang ila kennel name kay unsaon nalang if ang puppy wala maayo pag raise then na belong to sya from a reputable breeder then ang mga cretic mo ingon dayon "abi nako from a good breeder ni ngano ingon ani man lagi ni og nawong?". then not all people selling here are expensive man pud. some are very affordable. then if you want to adopt you can go to dog pounds. daghan kaayo mga nindot na iro didto na pede nimo i rescue.

thanks shade i am sure daghan mga breeders dri na same ra gyud ang answer having a pet is not a joke gyud its a life that you need to take care. dili na sila mga toys na pede ra i butang sa daplin if dili naka ganahan nila or imo lang pagut-man if dili naka ka afford mo feed nila. i hope ang mga tawo before they acquire a pet they will make sure na they can commit in raising them well and protecting them like part of their family. because irresponsible handling of pets is the very reason ngano daghan ang ga suffer na mga animals karun.

agree ku ani...dili jud basta2x ang pag alaga ug mga dogs. they have a lot of needs too. as for puppy mills....lahi ra jud. the purpose of puppy millers is breeding for profit. kana kay ikaw na jud as a buyer ang mu determine ana. it doesn't mean nga kung taas ang presyo, profit ra ang gi apas ana. there are many reasons why breeders sell certain dogs at high cost and it is always about quality. i'm not saying pud na if the dog is expensive that means good quality jud. again, ikaw na as the buyer ang mu assess ana.

sir sorry d ko mu agree nimu nga tanan mga breeders mu profit sa dog.or as u said nga maka gain ug profit sa mga expenses nimu...
d man gyd na ingn nga once maka anak na u stop everything. again and again its a life time commitment. your lucky if maka break even ka with your dogs..NOT KIDDING.

AND to clarify things.
BREEDER is not = to seller
dili tanan mga breeder mu baligya dyn og pup and dili tanan breeder mu aim lng nga mu breed sa ila dog JUST FOR THE SAKE OF BREEDING.^^


kana noun imu concern SIR. IRRESPONSIBLE noun gyd na cya nga breeder. BUT mass irresponsible ang mga TAO NGA MU PALIT ANA NIYA... rule of supply and demand ra man gyd na.. mau pud na iyaha.

its a buyer's market... buyers have all the discretion whether to buy from this or that seller.
if one is selling higher than the other one, and buyer thinks its just the "same" dog, well by all means get the cheaper one!

pricing your dog has so many factors to consider; believe me, before a legitimate breeder put a price tag sa iya dog, niagi na na sa iya kuting deliberation... considering all the factors in coming up with such a price. however, i also agree with leonardo nga there are a few nga mejo "overpriced" gyod, but what can we do, ila man na, they have the right to price ila pups how much they want to.
